Kanwar Gautam is a Winnipeg-based author, options trader, and content creator. Born and raised in India, he lived in Italy from 2000 to 2007 before settling in Canada.
He writes about two subjects he has lived with for years. The first is money. As a self-directed investor who manages his own portfolio, he writes investing books for everyday readers in plain language, with a focus on real risk and no hype. A lifelong reader of investing books, he has been especially shaped by Morgan Housel's The Psychology of Money and James Clear's Atomic Habits, and he believes good investing depends as much on behaviour and discipline as on strategy.
The second is stories. He grew up listening to his grandmother's tales and his mother's stories of Meera and Kabir, and later shared them with his own children. His fiction retells stories from Indian tradition for today's readers, giving overlooked characters such as Shakuntala the voice they deserve.
He writes in English and Hindi and shares finance ideas and Indian stories through his YouTube channels and the ThetaFuse podcast.
